OctopusPro is a simple & efficient way to run and grow any service business, at mobile, fixed and virtual locations, allowing businesses to manage their leads, enquiries, quotes, bookings, invoices, feedback, payments as well as their customers and staff all together in one revolutionary software, all safe and secure in the cloud!This job will be working out of our spacious and modern office in Nasr City in Cairo.The RoleOctopusPro is currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to review and develop written documentation tailored to meet our customers needs including procedures, system documentation, user guides, help systems, training manuals, email campaigns, and release notes.You will also take responsibility for the development and execution of the organisation’s Digital and Social Media strategy; keeping social media channels updated and brand focused and executing campaign-related social and digital activity.Tasks & Responsibilities:Develop, publish and maintain high-quality user manuals and guides for customers to follow so that customers have easy to understand technical informationReview and edit technical system documentation, ensuring industry, client and internal quality standards are metGather all requirements for each feature by liaising with relevant teams to create content that improves the customer experienceCreate, organise and maintain a comprehensive set of documentation fit for external use (aligned with relevant guidelines) and internal use (such as training materials)Develop end user documentation such as work instructions, user guides, process maps and statements of workDesign, develop and communicate documentation standards and methodologies including templates and style guides and navigation of relevant document management system as requiredEnsure release and version control of documentsWork with the Customer Service team to provide recommendations, input and content for training guides and materialsLiaise effectively with both technical and management stream staffWork with Testing teams to ensure that every feature has a logical and coherent user guide and support manual that makes it easy for customers to followCreate and monitor a wide variety of email marketing campaigns ensuring design and layouts are optimized, user and mobile-friendlyInformal training of technical staff in the use of templates and document control systemsVideo content creation: creating video content for Youtube and social media channelsDevelop engaging, creative and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts to promote brand awareness and brand-focused messagesManage Social Media Pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, Website and Blogs) and monitor user engagement
